What is your routine?

Its funny how when someone is visiting you, or you are traveling, or even being sick, your whole routine just goes out the window. That's what happened to me while grandma was here visiting. Now 3 weeks later I'm struggling to get back into my morning routine. I personally find it so important to have a routine. I feel like my day is all wonky and I'm not mentally/emotionally ready for it.

Tips on how to get back into your routine (this is what helped me)

1. wake up early! give yourself enough time in the morning, you don't want to be rushing out the door

2. spend 5 minutes just to reflect and give thanks, I like to read the daily bible verse of the day, I also like to journal

3. set the atmosphere! depends on the morning and how I'm feeling, I always have my essential oils and diffuser going. Depending on my mood and what my day looks like, I'll diffuse the oils that I think will help me emotionally

4. breakfast! I'm not sure about you guys but I NEED to have breakfast in the morning. I like to drink hot lemon water each morning along side my breakfast which varies from oatmeal, yogurt with granola and fruit, toast with avocado and eggs, or has browns with eggs and tomatoes and peppers.
